Rana Nasir Ali

Mr. Ali has over 42 years of experience in project management, feasibility studies, tender documents, tender evaluation and design review of various projects. He has been involved in review of design and quality control plans of the project. He has also been involved in monitoring erection/installation, testing and commissioning of the Project at Site. As Project Manager for HUBCO 225 MW Diesel Engines based Combined Cycle Power Plant Project, he managed preparation of bankable feasibility study of the Project. He has reviewed detail design & drawings for various mechanical & piping systems and 60 km high pressure NG pipeline from Mari Gas Field to Guddu. Mr. Ali was responsible for preparation of technical specifications of mechanical equipment/systems for inclusion in the tender documents for PEPCO Projects. Mr. Ali also prepared functional specifications/ conceptual design of various systems of the Project and presented the results of the Feasibility Study to panel of experts appointed by PPIB. As Home Office Project Manager (Contracts / Claims), Mr. Ali has been in close contact with the Client (LEPCL) during the implementation of the project 660 MW Supercritical Coal Based Power Project in Karachi, Pakistan. He has been involved in preparation of technical tender specification, EPC tendering, contract administration, and shortlisting potential O&M operator. He holds B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering degree from University of Peshawar, Pakistan.
