Frans Baltussen

Frans Baltussen is a seasoned boiler expert with over 40 years of experience in the design, supply, erection, and testing of boilers and water-steam systems for power plants. Currently serving as a Senior Boiler Expert at PITCO (Pvt) Ltd., Mr. Baltussen has been instrumental in a range of projects across various industries, specializing in the optimization and enhancement of power generation systems. His career has spanned every phase of boiler installation and operation—from initial design and mechanical system development to commissioning and testing—ensuring reliable, efficient operations in numerous power plants. His professional qualifications include extensive expertise in energy audits, feasibility studies, and operational analysis aimed at improving boiler performance and energy efficiency. He has specialized in a wide variety of boiler types, including coal-fired, biomass, bagasse, and waste heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs). In addition, he has a proven track record in managing complex projects, from design and procurement to installation and performance testing, ensuring high standards of safety and reliability. Mr. Baltussen holds a degree in Mechanical and Energy Technology from the High Tech Institute in The Netherlands (1977).
