Key qualifications include the following: Worked with leading international consulting firms such as EBASCO, AEP Energy Services, ITECO, CRA, LEI and IRG of USA and vertically integrated power utilities in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Outstanding ability to interact and satisfy key stakeholders such as USAID, World Bank, ADB, JIBC, National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), Executive Management of the Power Distribution Companies (DISCOs), External Auditors, Privatization Commission & Federal Ministries. Ability to contribute in the formulation of corporate policies. Served as a member of the Board of Directors of Six (6) Pakistan Power Sector Government Owned Companies (LESCO, GEPCO, MEPCO, QESCO, PESCO, and GENCO-II). Fully capable of carrying out Cost of Service Studies and Tariff Design and developing corporate direction/guidelines for Business Planning, Operational Planning and Master Planning. Fully capable in developing & implementing systems and procedures to improve operational performance and conducting workshops for capacity building. He holds Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Quaid-e-Azam University (1981).
