From December 2020 onwards, PITCO has been serving as the Owner’s Engineer for the 367 kW Grid Connected PV Plant at Metro Cash & Carry in Ravi Road, Lahore, Pakistan. The project, led by Shams Power (Pvt) Ltd., involves installing and operating the solar PV power plant autonomously under a long-term PPA with the client. This project aims to provide clean power at 5% below the baseline cost of electricity for Metro Cash & Carry, enhancing their energy efficiency and sustainability.
PITCO’s services include conducting a site survey and assessment, feasibility study, interconnection point assessment, and capacity analysis. Our team performs in-depth shadow analysis and yield estimation, optimizes the system layout, and selects key equipment. PITCO conduct structural analysis, prepare specifications for solar PV modules and inverters, and assist in bid evaluation. PITCO oversees power plant erection, performs pre-commissioning tests, designs the earthing/grounding scheme, and commissions the PV plant. Additionally, PITCO prepare an O&M Plan and ensure integration with the existing system.
