KAPCO Kot Addu Power Company Ltd.
From January 2006 to May 2006, PITCO, in collaboration with Fichtner GmbH & Co. KG, conducted a feasibility study for the extension of a combined-cycle power station in Kot Addu, District Muzaffargarh, Pakistan. The project, funded by Kot Addu Power Company Ltd. (KAPCO), aimed to evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of extending the power station, including power station configuration, network study, environmental impact assessment, geological investigations, and investment cost calculations.
PITCO’s services included assisting in the preparation of the feasibility study, network study, environmental impact assessment, and geological investigations. Our team prepared tender documents, evaluated individual contract agreements, and conducted economic and financial analyses. The feasibility study provided a comprehensive evaluation of the power station’s extension potential, identifying key technical, economic, and financial aspects to support decision-making and project development.
