The project involved assessing the feasibility of a floating LNG import terminal, including storage and regasification through a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU), supplying gas to end-users over 10-15 years.
PITCO’s services included preparing a bankable feasibility study covering Pakistan’s gas sector, global LNG market, LNG value chain, FSRU market study, and nautical study. PITCO also supported the preparation of the FEED RfP for the marine and offshore pipeline part of the project, including technical proposal development and design basis for the jetty platform, offshore pipeline, and hydraulic study. The project aimed to enhance LNG import capacity and support energy sustainability in Pakistan.
