PITCO was involved in top supervision of the construction and commissioning from detailed engineering and procurement to inspection, construction, commissioning, and performance testing. Our team of experts reviewed detailed engineering designs and EPC Contractor’s deliverables; to provide cost-effective, high-quality engineering solutions as well as to ensure compliance with contractual, technical, regulatory, quality, and HSE requirements.
Services provided: Review of regulatory environment including Generation License and Grid Connectivity. In depth shadow analysis and yield estimation by simulating different configurations of module layout. Simulating the annual energy losses associated with various configurations of tilt angle, orientation and row spacing. System layout, planning and optimization according to the simulation results. Review of System design and selection of key equipment like module type, inverter type, rack design, foundation/structure design, interconnection design etc. Structural analysis for the installation site. Review of protection equipment for DC and AC side of the system. Review of specifications for Solar PV Modules, Solar Inverters. Overseeing the Power Plant erection. Overseeing pre‐commissioning tests to check system integrity. Overseeing the commissioning of PV plant and integration with the existing system.
